An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Projects Engineer to join the Water Management Alliance (WMA) Group of Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs). Internal Drainage Boards (“IDBs”) are local public authorities that manage flood risk and land drainage.
The Senior Projects Engineer is central to the planning, design and management of a diverse range of project work from river restoration and natural flood management to flood defence work. Your work will span Flood Risk Management, Natural Flood Management and River Restoration, as well as a range of flood defence and catchment-based initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and partner organisations across the WMA, with a particular focus on projects within the Suffolk and Waveney areas.
