Waltham Farm Pumping Station was commissioned in 1973, the station uses a single original electric motor–driven Archimedes screw pump. The Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment has reached the end of it’s design life and so needs to be replaced. The pump is in a bad condition and also requires replacement.
Waltham Farm Pumping Station – replacement works include:
- New pump and motor.
- New weed screen.
- Replacement steel-mesh flooring.
- New Motor Control Panel (MCC).
- Replacement of the electric supply and metering.
- Installing a new discharge culvert with flap valve
