Partnership Working
The WMA team has a strong track record of partnership working with other Risk Management Authorities, charities, private landowners and community groups who share our goals. We also have extensive experience of delivering projects through Public Sector Cooperation Agreements (PSCAs), ensuring that partnership working is at the heart of our approach.
This collaborative framework brings together technical expertise and local knowledge, helping to develop and deliver solutions that produce multiple benefits, including enhanced biodiversity, improved water quality and greater community resilience. We work alongside organisations that share our environmental values and create projects that are both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.
Our experience in managing projects under partnership models brings added benefits in terms of efficiency, innovation and shared ownership. By working closely with partner organisations, we strengthen technical capacity, share knowledge and build long-term relationships.
Norfolk Strategic Flood Alliance (NSFA)
The WMA Member Boards, within Norfolk, are members of the Norfolk Strategic Flood Alliance (NSFA). The NSFA is a partnership of local authorities, emergency services, government agencies, and infrastructure providers working together to reduce flood risk and improve resilience across Norfolk.
